What is an in-built VPN and how does it work?Updated a year ago

Some of our eSIMs come with an in-built VPN that routes your internet usage via another country.

This is available with all our our Asia eSIMs and SIM Cards, especially if they work in China, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan.

This is to route your data around the China firewall to allow you access to Western apps inside China or to bypass local laws (like identity verification requirements) needed in some Asian countries.
