No, you won’t have coverage while you’re out at sea since there are no mobile towers in the ocean 📶 🌊

Once your ship docks or gets close to land, your eSIM will automatically reconnect and you’ll have coverage again ⚓️

If you’re having trouble getting a stable signal after docking, here’s what you can do:

  1. Check coverage: Open the Simify App or website, go to your eSIM’s page, and confirm that the country you’re in is included in its coverage list.

  2. Refresh your signal: Turn Airplane Mode on for one minute, then turn it off again so your eSIM can refresh.

  3. Manually switch networks: If it still doesn’t connect, try manually selecting another available network in your mobile settings.

iPhone

  1. Go to Settings → Mobile → Network Selection

  2. Turn Automatic off

  3. Choose another available network and restart your device
    💡 Tip: Give it a few seconds to load — don’t tap through the list too quickly!

Android

  1. Go to Settings → Wireless & Networks → Mobile Networks → Network Operators

  2. Tap Search manually

  3. Select another network and restart your device

You can even try connecting to networks marked as “Forbidden” — just tap a few times until it connects!
